Company Description
Sleigh, Son & Booth currently operates as a traditional partnership but with plans to convert to an LLP. It has three satellite offices in Droylsden, Denton and Hyde (Tameside) dealing mainly with non-contentious matters. The office based in Hyde trades as Booth, Ince & Knowles whilst the offices based in Denton & Droylsden operate as Sleigh, Son & Booth (formerly and also known as Sleigh & Son). The Firm is a well-established, family firm of solicitors founded in 1923. Since 1988, it has provided clients with the convenience of both estate agency and conveyancing services under one roof.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Droylsden branch. The Solicitor will be responsible for handling complex transactions in both commercial and residential property sectors. Day-to-day tasks will include managing conveyancing processes, negotiating and drafting contracts, advising clients on property law, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Solicitor will also provide support on various legal matters related to property law and collaborate closely with clients and team members to deliver high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
- Ideally, at least 5 years PQE with a current practicing certificate
- Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the Greater Manchester property market is a plus
- Partnership prospects
- Salary negotiable plus bonus package
