We’re Sleeping Giant Media, a multi-award-winning digital marketing agency that helps businesses grow through smart strategy, creative thinking, and genuine partnership. We are looking for an Associate Account Director to join our growing team.
About The Role
- Role: Associate Account Director
- Department: Client Delivery - AM Team
- Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

- Work Location & Flexibility: Hybrid/Remote. We are open to discussing arrangements.
- Duration: Permanent, Full Time. Working Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm (37.5 hours weekly).
- Package: Up to £43,000 + Benefits. We are B Corp certified and a Real Living Wage employer.
The Role
- Translate clients' business goals into a clear strategy using our model that considers a holistic approach and identifies KPIs to measure success.
- Oversee external KPI targets, ensuring they are met monthly and hold account managers accountable.
- Collect and analyse metrics to provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams, ensuring the strategy is correct and tactics deployed by the Pod teams are effective.
- Communicate with clients on team recommendations, requests, and best practices, aligning with their digital strategy and goals.
- Create strategic digital roadmaps to secure buy-in with relevant client contacts.
- Deliver Business Reviews that consider cross-channel collaboration opportunities.
- Meet with clients in person and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Support client strategy development for senior account managers’ accounts.
The Person
- Demonstrate passion for digital advertising and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
- Proof of experience managing client requirements, including planning multi-disciplinary campaigns and ad-hoc work.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent organisational skills to plan, present detailed proposals and deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
- Results-driven with a thriving attitude in fast-paced environments and the ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Collaborative and capable of working independently across cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Effective communicator, explaining complex concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- Google Analytics & Google Ads certified.
- Experience using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, AWR, and Google Search Console.
- Agency experience and familiarity with agency-side operations.
- Evidence of passion for working in the digital marketing industry.
