ROLE OVERVIEW
As a core member of the Live team, our Producers work cross-functionally with technical production, creative, and other stakeholders to plan and execute next level events that we know our clients will love, on time and on budget. Our Producers lead project teams with passion and enthusiasm. They can also lead a particular area of a larger project, and always applying the same outlook, whilst keeping all relevant senior members in the loop and updated on key details from initial concept through to the final implementation and debrief. You can expect the role to involve lots of collaboration with internal teams, touching event design, experience, content, logistics and operations. Where you'll nail it is by translating client briefs into the language that each different department understands - you'll know a little about a lot! Not only is collaboration internal, but external too - building great relationships with suppliers and clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Project manage high-quality, creative events from the briefing, through to planning, design and onsite delivery.
- Gain a full understanding of the client’s aims and objectives and close management of all aspects of the project across the entire project delivery team.
- Ensure that all project outcomes and requirements meet the brief.
- At times, own a complex area of a larger-scale project, maintaining strong collaboration with the project's Lead and wider team.
- Work with the Resource Manager to scope, plan and onboard your project team.
- Have a broad understanding of the roles (and time) required on a mix of project types.
- Lead and contribute to project meetings and communications with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project cycle.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver projects to a high standard and in line with client budgets.
- Create and adhere to internal critical paths, client deadlines and supplier deadlines.
- Develop production briefs in collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- Hold a good level of AV knowledge.
- Source venues and suppliers with strong negotiating skills.
- Create branding scope & deliverables briefing documents specific to each venue.
- Coordinate site visits and create reports for internal and client usage.
- Ensure pre-production prep and all onsite documents and schedules are accurate and ready to go.
- Lead or support on-site delivery.
- Ensure we are compliant in all areas.
- Gather and share post-event feedback and learnings within the team and suppliers.
- Fully understand, follow and implement Sleek's processes.
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and delivery process.
- Budget management for projects of all different sizes and in various currencies.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to budget management.
- Be a time management guru.
- Capable with ‘scope creep’ principles.
- Accurate budget reconciliation.
- Foster strong relationships with clients at all levels.
- Lead in all aspects of client relations.
- Support on RFP’s.
- Keep your industry knowledge fresh, up-to-date and expanding.
- Mentor, ready to assist, motivate and guide where needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE
- Demonstrated prior experience in an events agency environment managing projects and in a client-facing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable organisation skills.
- Very strong project management and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in managing project budgets.
- Has a creative eye.
- An ability and willingness to travel for site inspections and event delivery.
- Experience in PROCIM, Google Docs is preferable.
