The role of Senior Producer exists to help Sleek drive our 'growth without compromise' purpose by delivering live events that truly represent Sleek's 'go further' passion. You will be well versed in leading project teams to deliver complex, creative brand events, managing budgets of over £500k and delighting your clients. Organisation will be an innate skill, as well as creating genuine, positive stakeholder relationships. Junior and mid-level members of the team will look to you for guidance, whilst Directors, EPs and Heads of Department will rely on you for support.
Working in partnership with the team, you will bring strategic concepting to your projects, an appreciation for content and facilitate smooth cross-functional collaboration between live, creative and technical departments. You will have a deep understanding of the processes for delivering projects and will have confidence in pushing boundaries, whilst ensuring projects are delivered on time, in budget and meet Sleek and our client's standards.
Ideating, pitching and briefing will also be key responsibilities. Your understanding and application of the creative and strategic processes involved within project scoping, pitching and delivery will be harnessed to input into the team and wider agency's methodologies, making not only an impact on our clients, but our team too. The role involves both UK and international travel and will report into a Project Director/Executive Producer. You will also likely manage a junior developing their capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to produce world-class experiences for globally renowned brands, end to end.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely and proactively as either a project lead or as part of a larger project team, spanning ideating, developing, pitching and producing flawless, innovative event solutions to meet client objectives.
- Manage project kick-offs and take ownership of critical paths (project plans) to keep all moving parts on track, adhering to all internal and client processes to a meticulous standard.
- Able to manage production, strategy and creative resources, based on the project needs, working with all to grow ideas.
- Anticipate and respond intuitively to project pinch points or wider challenges with appropriate solutions.
- Accurate preparation of pre-production and onsite documentation and schedules.
- Oversee all delivery partners, ensuring a cohesive approach to the project (sourcing, briefing, negotiating and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met).
- When supporting on larger projects; record and communicate planning updates to the Project Lead during the delivery phases.
- Confidently support and advise junior members of the team and other departments in project delivery best practice.
- Share learnings with the team from an operational, technical, creative, content and supplier perspective.
- Manage the post-event administrative process, including working with Marketing to create a case study.
- Observe where efficiencies could be introduced in how the departments collaborate to deliver projects on time, budget and to the client's needs whilst exceeding stakeholder expectations.
FINANCES
- Scope, prepare and manage budgets in multiple currencies, ensuring accuracy with any fluctuations justified, adhering to internal processes including managing scope creep, recording quotes, creating POs, payment schedules, processing invoices accurately.
- Ensure projects are reconciled and information is passed on in a timely fashion to Finance for billing.
CREATIVE AND STRATEGY
- Have a good understanding of the clients/brand strategy and how live experiences contribute towards them.
- Understand materiality and set design and what is feasible from a budget and timeline perspective.
- Understand the different roles in content, design and strategy, the process involved within each role and the associated timeframes of tasks.
- Hold great supplier knowledge for different event elements.
- Work with the creative team: generating new ideas and facilitating their development.
CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS
- Establish strong rapport with all client stakeholders.
- Implement client requirements on a project-by-project basis, challenging and suggesting alternatives if it’s for the good of the project.
- Maintain open communication, setting clear expectations of what is achievable.
- Actively participate in internal and external debriefs for the purposes of review and continual improvement.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Contribute to elements of new business pitches including face-to-face presentations if required.
- Manage the pitch process for smaller projects, working in synergy with other departments.
- Identify and act on opportunities for repeat or new business with existing clients.
- Contribute to new business development including industry networking, building relationships, obtaining referrals and liaising with contacts within your existing network.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS
You will be accountable for delivering measurable impact across the quality of our event delivery, profit margins, client satisfaction ratings, and colleague development.
Likely 7+ years experience in live events, ideally from an event agency background. Operates to an exceptional level of delivery, balances an excellent eye for detail whilst considering the overall project objectives. Self-motivated, leading by example with enthusiasm towards the role, the company and your colleagues, willing to take on tasks, no matter how menial. Works in a calm and composed manner when managing multiple projects and deadlines. Maintains the resilience and stamina required to sustain performance when under pressure. Passionate about supporting your peers to be better. Actively seeks and welcomes feedback. An ability to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships at all levels.
