We are a busy, forward-thinking GP practice seeking two enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GPs to join our friendly and ambitious team. Our practice prides itself on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting staff development, innovation, and work-life balance. Main duties of the job
You will be required to work as an autonomous GP and be responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population whilst delivering excellent clinical care. You must adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contribute to effective management and processes within the practice, show leadership skills as well as maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team. You will be involved in routine clinics and taking part in the duty doctor rota. If you have particular special interests, we can look into how we can accommodate your skills.
We are currently a training practice and have multiple GP trainers. We have a skilled team of clinicians including doctors, nurse practitioners, paramedics, nurses, pharmacists, and HCAs. We have a skilled administrative team who support clinicians by arranging referrals and organising workflow of tasks allowing time to focus on patient care. We have a culture of learning and personal development being a training practice. There are regular clinical meetings which allow us to discuss matters in an open and supportive environment. Apart from this, we pride ourselves on having an open door policy - any issues can be discussed at the time you need to with any member of staff.

Job responsibilities
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a diverse clinical workload, including acute and chronic disease management, preventive health care, and health promotion.
- Provide consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of medical conditions.
- Deliver continuity of care to registered patients, including care home visits and telephone consultations where appropriate.
- Support the management of long-term conditions in line with current clinical guidelines and best practice.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and the achievement of QOF and enhanced services.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to deliver safe and efficient patient care.
- Contribute to the teaching and mentoring of students and trainees where applicable.
- Engage in continuing professional development (CPD) and maintain GMC registration.

Qualifications
- Fully qualified General Practitioner with MRCGP (or equivalent experience).
- GMC registration with a current licence to practise.
- Inclusion (or eligibility for inclusion) on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
- Evidence of ongoing CPD and appraisal in line with GMC revalidation requirements.
Experience and Knowledge
- Broad clinical experience in primary care, including management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Understanding and experience of working under the General Medical Services (GMS) contract.
- Experience in the delivery of Enhanced Services (e.g. minor surgery, contraceptive services, vaccinations, or long-term condition management).
- Knowledge of NHS structures, clinical governance, and current healthcare policy.
- Awareness of QOF, CQC standards, and information governance requirements.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Effective time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
- Competence in the use of clinical IT systems (e.g. SystmOne, EMIS) and electronic record-keeping.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
