We are seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of mechanical building services projects from inception through to completion. The role will involve managing multiple projects, coordinating teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Roles and Responsibilities
- Leading site and project teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Managing project budgets, reporting, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Overseeing variations and tendering additional works where required
- Providing technical support to clients and site teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and long‑term partnerships
- Supporting commercial, design, and delivery coordination across contracts
- Overseeing all aspects of mechanical installation and maintenance
- Managing project planning, procurement, and programme delivery
- Liaising with customers, consultants, and main contractors
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience within the commercial construction sector
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems within the construction industry
- Solid understanding of commercial, design, financial, and delivery aspects of construction contracts
- Confident leadership style with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, client‑focused approach with a passion for quality and delivery experience
- Valid CSCS Card
Advantageous Skills & Qualifications
- HNC (or equivalent) in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
