Being part of a global corporation gives customers the peace of mind that they are in the safest hands possible.About the roleThe Area Sales Manager will oversee sales operations across the West Midlands, focusing on driving revenue growth. The role combines business development and account management.As the Area Sales Manager, you will be specifically responsible for:Building strong value adding relationships with existing customers.Prospecting for new customers and new opportunities with existing customers.Working closely with depot network and internal Service Centre colleagues.Continuous personal development on product and application knowledge.Contributing to and working with SLD data systems especially CRM system.Managing commercials to ensure order profitability.Increasing the level of awareness of customers of SLD Pumps & Power and associated companies within the region.Providing reports on customer enquiries, hires and sales in the designated area.Assisting in the collection of payments due for services provided in the designated area.To be successful in the role you should have:Outside sales experience to construction industry.Experience with pumps, generators or plant hire will be beneficial.UK driving license.Great communication and negotiation skills.Customer focus and result-driven attitude.What we offerBase salary + 20% SIP25 days of holidays + bank holidaysHome / depot-based roleOur commitment to youOur greatest assets are the expertise, creativity and passion of our employees.
