SLD Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Van Drivers to join our growing team. We work with a wide range of established customers across Nottingham, Derby and South Yorkshire, meaning we can offer a variety of van driving opportunities to suit different preferences and experience levels. Depending on the customer and role, van driving duties can include: * Driving company vans safely and responsibly * Making local and regional deliveries * Multi-drop deliveries to customers, businesses and residential addresses * Delivering parcels, pallets, stock and general goods * Loading and unloading the van * Checking goods before delivery * Using a hand trolley or pump truck where required * Completing delivery paperwork and electronic delivery records * Collecting goods and returning them to the depot * Following delivery schedules and planned routes * Providing excellent customer service * Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects * Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy * Following all relevant road transport, health & safety and company procedures We have a variety of different van driving work available, including multi-drop, local deliveries, depot-to-depot, collections and deliveries, parcel work and general haulage, depending on our customers' requirements.
