Working with a high degree of autonomy, you'll take ownership of reviewing, developing and refining people policies, drawing on employment legislation, emerging best practice and organisational priorities to inform your recommendations.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll contribute to how people policy supports strategic objectives, legislative change and the consistent application of people practices. You'll be confident operating independently, building relationships and using your judgement to identify opportunities for policy improvement while balancing business needs, colleague experience and compliance requirements. You'll also play an important role in helping managers understand and apply people policies effectively, ensuring they have the guidance, resources and confidence needed to make informed people decisions and deliver a consistent colleague experience.

You'll help identify innovative ways to provide clear, reliable information, making it easier for colleagues and managers to access the guidance they need, when they need it. Through consultation, insight and relationship building, you'll influence how policies evolve and contribute to a more inclusive and user-focused approach to people policy. This includes supporting the development of practical guidance, learning resources and knowledge content that build capability, improve colleague and manager understanding, and enable greater self-service across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in employment law, people policy and organisational change who enjoys taking ownership of their work and can quickly become a trusted advisor within a varied stakeholder environment.
