SLC Solutions is looking for someone to join our team in Bournemouth, working across solar, EV charging and electrical installations on the South Coast.
Here is what the job actually involves.
You would be working on domestic, commercial and industrial installations, everything from full electrical fit outs on new build developments through to solar with battery storage and EV charger installs.
The work is varied by design, which is one of the best things about it.
No two properties present the same problem, and the days when a roof throws you something unexpected tend to be the days you learn the most.
So we need someone which uses their initiative and experience to overcome problems.
What we are looking for is someone with real time served experience rather than a long list of certificates alone.
Ideally at least six years qualified, holding the industry standard qualifications, with genuine working knowledge of both electrical and solar installations.
Just as important is how you work.
Our teams are small, they rely on each other, and they go into people's homes and businesses every day.
Turning up on time, keeping a site tidy and being great with our customers matters here as much as the technical side.
Your package
- Salary of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
- Tools provided
- Uniform provided
- Holiday pay
- Genuine opportunity to progress and upskill
That last point is not filler.
Solar, storage and EV charging are moving quickly, manufacturer accreditations open real doors, and we would rather invest in training someone who wants to grow than replace them in two years.
For anyone wanting to move deeper into renewables from a traditional electrical background, this is a great place to do it.
We have been trading since 2017, built on more than twenty years of industry experience, and we work with manufacturers including Sigenergy, Solar Edge, Tesla, Fox ESS and Enphase.
The standard of the work is what we are known for locally, and we are looking for someone who takes the same pride in it.
