About This Position:
- Lead a team of quantity surveyors working on rail projects and providing guidance and support as needed to internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with project managers, rail engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure rail project objectives are met.
- Provide procurement advice and work with customers to develop estimates, tender documentation, process and evaluation tools.
- Provide technical support on contract interpretation, negotiation and wider commercial strategies for internal and external customers.
- Lead and continuously improve change management, commercial forecasting and reporting, working closely with other functions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations, including those specific to rail infrastructure and government procurement processes.
- Seek out opportunities to add value in customer delivery and future propositions.
