Job Summary

The Storekeeper is responsible for accurate and efficient handling, storage and movement of materials within the warehouse, ensuring all inventory activities are performed in compliance with company policies, procedures and QHSE standards and supporting production and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with applicable company policies, including personnel and QHSE requirements.
  • Inspect, label, receive, store, pick, pack, issue, dispose, and cycle‑count inventory items.
  • Accept supplier deliveries, ensuring items match the packing list or purchase order, and report discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure outgoing inventory is properly packed and issued with correct documentation.
  • Issue materials to production orders, work orders and sales orders; support kitting activities and Kanban replenishment.
  • Improve warehouse efficiency and safety by optimizing bin locations and material layout.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards in warehouse, shipping and receiving areas; perform inventory cycle counts and support periodic physical inventory counts.
  • Investigate and resolve local inventory and warehouse issues as requested by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with established warehouse procedures, standards and best practices.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after required training and certification.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Operating a 7.5‑ton lorry for moving items between buildings is an advantage.

Experience & Exposures

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or storekeeping environment.
  • Experience with receiving, picking, packing and issuing materials.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and cycle‑counting processes.
  • SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Safety‑focused, detail‑oriented mindset.
  • Proactive and reliable with a strong sense of accountability.
