Location: Aberdeen, UK – Performance Center

Work Schedule: Aberdeen Hybrid Office-based with occasional travel to our Europe offices.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Technologist Lead to join our Performance Center team in Aberdeen, UK. This role is critical providing technical expertise regarding analyzing, and optimizing oil and gas production enhancement and optimization solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including reservoir, digital and wells teams, to maximize production efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to SLB’s innovative approach to production technology while developing your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Act as the Production technical lead for the Performance Centre led engagements
  • Interact directly with clients to identify the opportunities, define high-level scopes, value-added programs and frame the conceptual solution designs.
  • Owning on the solution design, define and redefine technical proposals.
  • Defining success criteria, participate in the briefing to delivery teams and oversights the solution implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement by proposing process enhancements and lessons learned.

The candidate should have experience across these key areas:

  • Monitoring and analyzing well and production system performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Diagnosing production losses, (i.e. skin, damage, water/gas breakthrough, scaling, and sanding)
  • Defining completion and AL philosophies/concepts
  • Concept and method selection for well interventions, workovers, recompletions, and plug
