About the Team: Working within a small, dynamic, motivated team, where operational demands & requirements can change by the hour. You will be working alongside Senior technicians with both Electrical and Mechanical expertise, where you will be expected to assist in any duties required to fulfil job requirements. Job Summary: The Maintenance Associate is responsible to perform maintenance activities per the Maintenance Program and ensure on-time delivery of equipment in accordance with operational demand. The Maintenance Associate supports initiatives to improve the maintenance-related Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD), Maintenance Efficiency, People Productivity, and Asset Availability within the Center of Reliability and Efficiency (CRE) or Maintenance Base (MB), or Maintenance Center.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Under direct supervision of either R&M Manager or Senior Technician’s, perform assigned higher-level maintenance activities.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems, accurately capturing maintenance related data.
- Comply with Schlumberger and respective division TLM standards.
- Maintain and build competency in compliance with the TLM Competency Management System.
- Participate in and support continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Ability to record data and demonstrate good record-keeping skills.
- Ability to use a computer for accessing and sending e-mail, opening and revising documents, accessing internet and web-based programs.
