Location: Aberdeen

Duration: 6-months (with extension possibility)

Job Summary: We are looking for a Planning and Supply Chain Team intern who will support our team of Resource coordinators in their daily job of order creation, management and timely delivery. You will be working with a dynamic and cross-functional team that is responsible for ensuring the optimal flow of materials and resources across our field operations. You will also have the opportunity to work on the MRP deployment process, which is a key initiative to improve our planning and supply chain capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and manage orders for field material transfers using SAP and other tools
  • Track and monitor the status of orders and deliveries and communicate with stakeholders
  • Laise with suppliers and coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely execution of open orders and invoice processing.
  • Support the Procurement team with daily operational follow-ups, supplier communications, and order management activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Operation, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and other business teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities and business objectives.
  • Analyse and report on order and delivery performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support the MRP deployment process by testing, validating, and documenting the new system and processes
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure alignment and coordination of planning and supply chain activities

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Valid right to work status in the UK for the whole duration of the Internship

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work with data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute
