Job Summary: As a Summer Engineering Intern at SLB, you will gain hands-on experience in energy technology and operations. You will support engineering teams in job design, equipment maintenance, and wellsite activities, contributing to projects that improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and service delivery. This internship offers exposure to cutting-edge technology, wellsite operations, and continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers and supervisors in the design and execution of the jobs.
- Assist in maintenance and reliability projects, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization and reduce downtime.
- Participate in failure investigations and help document findings for technical audits.
- Learn and contribute to wellsite operations, including job planning and operational reporting.
- Assist engineers and specialists with risk analysis and process improvement tasks.
- Help prepare technical documentation, reports, and post-job summaries.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Essential Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related engineering disciplines.
- Valid right to work status in the UK for the whole duration of the Internship.
Preferred Skills:
- Interest in maintenance processes, reliability engineering, and/or wellsite operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams.
- Passion for learning and delivering results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
