We are seeking a highly skilled Electrochemical Reactor Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation water treatment systems. This role sits at the intersection of advanced hardware development and intelligent process control. You will take ownership of designing, simulating and automating state-of-the-art electrochemical reactors optimized for the destruction of recalcitrant contaminants like PFAS. Responsibilities: Design and scale flow-through electrochemical reactors operating at high current densities Select advanced electrode materials (e.g. BDD) to maximise defluorination and energy efficiency Optimise mass transport and fluid dynamics Develop automated control systems with real-time monitoring and optimisation Build and operate prototypes, delivering systems from concept to functional hardware What We’re Looking For: PhD (or equivalent experience) in Chemical, Electrochemical, or Mechanical Engineering Strong experience in electrochemical systems, flow reactors, and scale-up Expertise in automation, sensors, and process control systems Proven track record delivering working reactor hardware Strong teamwork and communication skills What we can offer you: Competitive base salary, private healthcare for employee
