Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW //

We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-orientated individual to join the Digital Marketing Team on a fixed-term contract as part of the wider Business Services function at our head office in London.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our firmwide intranet that provides essential information and the latest updates to all our people. You will be one of our subject matter experts on our intranet platform and operations, working with a broad range of stakeholders across the breadth of the firm. You will also input into our internal communications technology roadmap around the future use of technologies in engaging with our people.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES //

The key responsibilities of this role are set out below and there may be others which are not listed. You may be required on occasion to work outside our normal working hours of 9:30am to 5:30pm.

  • Implement content creation and updates on companywide Intranet.
  • Support editors with periodically reviewing content so it remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Manage the central inbox for enquiries around support or platform updates.
  • Provide support to stakeholders in internal comms, firm leadership and practice heads in delivering internal messages.
  • Liaise with internal IT colleagues around development updates and testing, including system integrations, data validity, user management and security configurations.
  • Support managing user access and security controls, regularly reviewing and testing to ensure compliance with firm/regulatory policies and standards.
  • Seek to optimise the overall user experience, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide support and training to a network of content editors around the firm, advising on best practice for content delivery and user experience.
  • Work with our platform vendors to provide support as required and stay informed on product updates and developments.
  • Produce reports on engagement and content usage, providing insights and making recommendations to stakeholders for improvements.
  • Contribute to system development initiatives and requirements. Document platform configurations, processes and changes.
  • Support governance procedures for content management and information accessibility.
  • Participate in audits, risk assessments and business continuity planning as required

CANDIDATE PROFILE //

We are looking for candidates who have worked, or be working in a similar role with some experience using marketing systems such as content management (CMS)

Required skills:

  • Experience using a website or intranet content management system (CMS) with knowledge of best practices, user experience, content management, and information architecture. Experience using OpenText Web CMS (Reddot/Teamsite) or Microsoft Sharepoint would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint sites would be advantageous
  • Experience working with user security access requirements and with sensitive information.
  • Can manage regular routine requests to support internal comms plans and business updates.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, and excellent attention to detail.
  • A high level of professionalism and integrity, displaying the highest standards.
  • Experience of working within a diverse team while fostering an inclusive team culture.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, confidence to develop strong working relationships with fee earners, knowledge lawyers and members of the Commercial team.
  • Proven organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple deliverables within a tight timeframe and deliver high quality work.
