We’re looking for a Developer to join the Development team within our Technology department. If you thrive on solving complex challenges, enjoy learning modern technologies, and value building secure, maintainable solutions, this role is for you. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver enterprise integrations that are critical to business success. You’ll work with the latest Azure technologies, contribute to the firm’s broader digital transformation, and collaborate across systems such as finance, risk, document management, and practice management. A major focus of the role is on systems integration, using the Azure Integration Services toolset. You'll also contribute to a wide range of projects across our tech stack, including SQL, Power Platform, Power BI, and .NET. We’re looking for someone who brings both experience and curiosity - someone who’s ready to adapt and grow as technologies and business needs evolve.
You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying solutions across multiple business-critical systems. From hands-on development and system integration to writing specifications and collaborating with third-party vendors, your work will directly enhance how we integrate, scale, and optimise our technology solutions to meet evolving business needs.
You will be part of the Integrations Team within Development. Development sits within Business Systems which also includes Project Management and Quality Assurance. The department is structured into focused delivery teams to enable better delivery flow and cross-functional collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations across multiple platforms, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and compliant with internal governance.
- Act as a technical liaison, collaborating with third-party vendors to support their integration and master data management implementations. You will be able to define clear technical specifications and ensure work is delivered to a high standard.
- Work closely with architects, data engineers, and technical owners to ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture principles.
- Share knowledge with and mentor existing team members to strengthen integration capabilities within the development team.
- Implement all aspects of the integration lifecycle: secure design, development, error logging, debugging, monitoring, scalability, and testing.
- Develop Azure-based integration solutions using Logic Apps, Service Bus, Function Apps, API Management, and Data Factory.
- Build robust data pipelines and ETL solutions that support business processes and reporting needs.
- Conduct code reviews on other people's solutions to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Proven experience developing with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Function Apps, API Management, and Data Factory.
- Strong SQL skills, including database design, stored procedures, and query optimisation.
- Experience working with third-party vendors to define technical requirements and ensure delivery quality.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, ideally in an ISO 27001-accredited environment.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Experience with .NET (C#/.NET Core) for backend integration work.
- Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- Experience integrating with document management systems.
- Experience integrating with practice management systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for integration deployments.
- Exposure to Power Platform, especially Power Automate in integration scenarios.
- Experience working in Scrum or Kanban environments using Azure DevOps.
