What we’re looking for:
- Education: Law degree (at least a 2:1 standard) or law conversion course.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Tech savvy: Proficiency with IT/legal tools and platforms, including AI.
- Personality: Proactive, adaptable mindset with a passion for learning and a commitment to outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality support to fee‑earners and clients.
- Undertake a wide variety of work under supervision, but not as a designated matter handler.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, briefs, court documents and correspondence.
- Assist with legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.
- Attend client meetings and court hearings, interacting with clients, barristers, opponents and experts.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive case management.
- Contribute to business development activities: attending external events, client engagement initiatives, blogging and growing professional social media presence.
- Develop and advise on relevant options, strategies and solutions.
- Demonstrate an adequate understanding of the commercial, organisational and financial context within the department.
- Attain a level of competence to SRA and Practical Skills standards, working towards qualification as a solicitor.
