Slater and Gordon are seeking an experienced Team Leader / Solicitor to join our Clinical Support Team within our wider Clinical Negligence practice. Our Clinical Support Team forms an integral part of our multidisciplinary Clinical Negligence department, providing support across both legal and clinical matters. The team ensures clients receive clear, practical guidance throughout what can often be a complex and sensitive process, acting as a bridge between clients and their legal representatives to deliver the highest standard of service. This is a dual role combining legal expertise with team leadership responsibility.

You will:

  • Supervise, support and develop Paralegals and Legal Assistants
  • Lead on performance management and oversee team MI
  • Analyse performance metrics to drive service excellence
  • Coach and mentor team members to maximise performance and engagement
  • Provide legal oversight and expertise within the Clinical Support function
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Negligence Solicitor who has:

  • Demonstrable experience within clinical negligence
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with performance data
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A collaborative, client-focused approach

Part-time applications are welcome and the location is flexible.
