We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to own the measurement, optimisation, and commercial effectiveness of marketing across the full customer lifecycle. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will act as the authority on marketing performance, attribution, and ROI, ensuring marketing investment is clearly linked to business outcomes. This is a senior role within the marketing leadership team, responsible for performance frameworks, advanced analytics, attribution modelling, experimentation, and executive-level insight. The role partners closely with Marketing, Finance, Data, and Operations to ensure a shared, evidence-led view of growth and efficiency. This role drives strategic decision-making through deep analysis of customer behaviour, marketing, digital and onboarding performance, and return on investment across all channels and touchpoints.
Core Objective
To maximise marketing effectiveness by:
- Create a single, trusted view of marketing performance and ROI through the customer journey.
- Translate complex data into clear commercial decisions.
- Optimise the end-to-end customer journey through insight, testing, and attribution.
- Elevate performance measurement maturity across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Effectiveness & Strategy
- Own the marketing performance framework across the full funnel: awareness, consideration, acquisition, onboarding, and early retention.
- Evaluate and optimise marketing investment using ROI, CAC, LTV, and marginal return analysis.
- Identify growth opportunities, inefficiencies, and risks within channel mix and customer journeys.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Design, build, and own executive-level dashboards and KPI frameworks that clearly link marketing activity to business outcomes.
- Provide regular performance readouts to the CMO and senior stakeholders, with clear recommendations and actions.
- Ensure consistent definitions, metrics, and reporting standards across teams.
Attribution, Modelling & Advanced Analytics
- Own and evolve attribution approaches (multi-touch, incrementality, cohort analysis) to improve decision-making.
- Partner with data teams to ensure robust data pipelines, tracking, and governance across platforms.
- Use advanced analytics to understand channel contribution, customer behaviour, and conversion drivers.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as the central performance partner to Marketing, Finance, Data, Practice Heads, and Operations for all things marketing data.
- Influence senior stakeholders through clear storytelling, commercial insight, and evidence-based recommendations.
- Raise the overall analytical maturity of the marketing function.
Skills & Experience
- Significant and proven experience in senior marketing analytics, performance marketing, or marketing effectiveness roles (5+ years).
- Proven experience influencing marketing strategy and investment decisions at a senior level.
Technical & Analytical Capability
- Strong SQL capability and advanced experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent).
- Deep hands-on experience with web and marketing analytics platforms (e.g. GA, Social Platforms).
- Expert understanding of attribution, full funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and customer segmentation.
- Strong statistical grounding and experience interpreting results.
Insight & Communication
- Exceptional data storytelling skills: able to turn complex analysis into clear commercial narratives.
- Comfortable presenting to Executive-level and senior leadership audiences.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance growth and efficiency.
