Slater and Gordon is one of the UK’s leading consumer law firms, renowned for acting for individuals and families in some of the most complex and sensitive clinical negligence cases. Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Newly Qualified or Junior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our London team. You will manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters with appropriate supervision, working alongside experienced colleagues in a supportive and collaborative environment. The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to develop your technical skills from the outset of your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims
- Drafting pleadings, instructions to experts and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel and third parties
- Supporting senior solicitors on more complex, high-value cases
- Delivering an empathetic, client-focused service
About You
- Newly Qualified solicitor or up to 3 years’ PQE
- Previous experience in clinical negligence or personal injury (including trainee seat experience)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for claimant clinical negligence work
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development
