Ford and Slater are one the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 17 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Administrator / Credit Controller in our fantastic Finance team at our Leicester Head Office.
As an Accounts Administrator / Credit Controller, we can offer you:
- A salary of up to £27,000 (depending on your Accounts receivable experience)
- 22 days holiday (plus statutory), rising to 25 days (plus statutory) after 5 years service

Who are we looking for as an Accounts Administrator/Credit Controller:
- You will have previous experience working in an accounts role, (such as sales ledger, credit control, accounts receivable)
- A team player with an exceptional eye for detail
- Excellent IT and communication skills (such as Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills)
- Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential
The Accounts Administrator / Credit Controller responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Posting bank statements
- Preparing remittances and bank statements
- Sending copy invoices
- Issuing of customer statements
- Holiday Cover
- Vehicle reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures and that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times.
Working 36.25 hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am – 4:30pm / 8:45am – 5pm (30 minute / 60 minute lunch break on a rota basis)
