We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join our leading Abuse and Public Inquiries team in Manchester. Providing support to our fee earners, we are looking for those who can assist on a varied caseload whereby we are acting for clients in civil abuse claims against various organisations and institutions, as well as the opportunity to assist on public inquiry work including the Covid 19 Public Inquiry.

As part of the role, you will be assisting our busy fee earners, including legal research, gathering and reviewing records and collating information, including producing chronologies of often lengthy and complex material. A high attention to detail is required. You will be required to attend conferences and client meetings alongside fee earners, in order to take notes and also to prepare bundles for court, experts, counsel and defendants, along with opening new files, drafting documents and dealing with a large volume of new enquiries that come into the department with other members of the team.
