We are currently seeking a talented Paralegal to join our Clinical Negligence Team, assisting with clinical negligence claims.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and administrative support to fee earners on client matters.
  • Manage a high volume of work from multiple lawyers, adapting to their individual needs and priorities.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
  • Produce complex documents, briefs, and witness statements in clear English.
  • Research legal concepts and apply understanding within your Practice Group.
  • Ensure proper file management, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with case management systems.
  • Support senior lawyers with meetings involving clients, counsel, and expert witnesses.

About You

  • Knowledge of basic legal concepts from legal education (e.g., undergraduate law, LPC, GDL, ILEX) or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems such as Mattersphere and Aderant.
  • Excellent typing, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Logical, analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure.
  • Commercial awareness, motivation, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
