We’re now looking for a talented and creative Video Manager to join our established Marketing team in Manchester. Role
As Video Manager, you’ll lead the full production process — from concept through to delivery — creating compelling visual content across a wide range of platforms and campaigns. A key part of the role will involve travelling across the UK to film client stories, corporate events, charity partnerships, and brand campaigns. You’ll work closely with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to produce high‑quality content that captures real experiences with professionalism, empathy, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Production & Storytelling
- Travel regularly across the UK to film client stories, workplace features, events, and charity partnership content.
- Conduct sensitive and empathetic interviews, ensuring contributors feel comfortable and supported throughout filming.
- Plan and organise shoots, building trust with clients and families ahead of production.
- Capture cinematic, engaging footage that authentically reflects client experiences.
- Independently manage all aspects of filming, including:
- Camera operation
- Multi-camera setups
- Audio recording
- Lighting
- Interview direction
- Composition and production troubleshooting
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and company values.
- Collaborate with the social media team to create platform‑optimised content, including vertical video formats for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Production & Technical Delivery
- Operate a variety of professional production equipment, including cinema and mirrorless cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and stabilisation systems.
- Maintain high production standards across audio, lighting, framing, colour balance, and overall technical quality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues calmly and effectively during shoots.
- Manage, maintain, and organise filming equipment and media assets.
- Ensure all production kit is fully prepared and ready for use.
- Editing & Post‑Production
- Edit engaging, high‑quality video content for a variety of audiences and channels.
- Produce:
- Long‑form case study videos

- Manage all aspects of post‑production, including:
- Video editing
- Colour grading and correction

- Proven experience as a videographer, filmmaker, or content producer.
- Strong documentary‑style storytelling and interview skills.
- Experience filming sensitive real‑life or human‑interest stories.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to help contributors feel relaxed and confident on camera.
- Advanced knowledge of professional filming equipment and production techniques.
- Strong understanding of:
