We are excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity within our Manchester Clinical Negligence team. The Practice Support Leader role has been created to provide operational leadership to our Legal Assistant function and to support the continued growth and success of the department. This is a key position within the team, combining hands-on legal administration with team coordination and oversight responsibilities. You will oversee the current team of Legal Assistants who provide administrative support to our Clinical support team. You will ensure work is effectively allocated, processes are followed, and service standards remain consistently high. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Legal Assistant who is ready to step into a leadership-focused role while remaining actively involved in day-to-day legal administration. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the Legal Assistants within the Manchester Clinical Negligence team.
  • Oversee workflow, prioritisation and quality of administrative output.
  • Act as a central point of contact for operational queries.
  • Support performance management, development and training within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and client service standards.
  • Lead by example through hands-on involvement in legal administration.

About You

  • Experienced Legal Assistant.
  • Confident overseeing workflow and supporting junior team members.
  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high service standards.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative and supportive approach.
