We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Family lawyer to join our national family team in Manchester. We are looking for a specialist Family lawyer with extensive experience of dealing with a varied caseload of divorce, matrimonial finances, private children work and cohabitation disputes, supervising members of the team and providing a high level of client care, whilst maintaining adherence to our national standards.
As you will be dealing with sensitive matters under time pressures, it is vital that you have excellent communication, organisation and time keeping skills. There will also be an expectation to delegate work to other team members. You would also be expected to hold and attend new client meetings and provide realistic advice, setting expectations, while handling negotiations, alongside ensuring that time recording and billing is managed to enable achievement of personal chargeable hours, billing and cash collection targets, with a support team in place to assist.
We are looking for a candidate who will engage in the development of the business for the Family Team by attending networking events to develop their own contacts and who will assist with marketing opportunities to raise the team’s profile.
What we offer in return:
- Hybrid working – 2 days per week working in the office (must live a reasonable distance to commute to the office)
- 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- 25 days holiday allowance plus
