We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Customer Support Administrator to join our Clinical Negligence Support Team in Manchester. This is a key role supporting fee earners and the wider team, ensuring a high standard of client care and efficient case management. A legal degree/background is not required. You will work alternating shifts – 8am – 4pm / 10am – 6pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely file opening and closing
  • Allocating accepted matters on the case management system and assigning the appropriate lawyer
  • Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes
  • Producing reports from internal systems and spreadsheets
  • Preparing and issuing standard client correspondence
  • Providing general administrative support to the team and Team Manager
  • Handling new client enquiries and taking initial details
  • Managing internal and client‑facing email inboxes
  • Liaising with colleagues to arrange client appointments
  • Supporting document creation and general client care tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and high client care standards

Key Duties

  • Speaking with potential clients regarding initial enquiries and arranging appointments
  • Managing calls confidently and efficiently, gathering relevant information within set timeframes
  • Demonstrating empathy and professionalism while promoting the services of the Clinical Negligence team
  • Providing ongoing administrative and operational support to the wider team

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident handling telephone‑based work and client enquiries
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • Able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Proactive, motivated, and commercially aware
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and case management systems
