Responsibilities
- Draft applications for the appointment of deputies for property and affairs.
- Prepare statutory will applications, gift and care applications.
- Produce annual OPG accounts and complex legal documents, briefs, and witness statements.
- Lead client meetings and manage negotiations.
- Delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff.
- Participate in marketing opportunities, including contributing to blogs and media commentary.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience within Court of Protection.
- Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and experience with property purchases.
- Strong drafting and client-facing skills.
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office (must live within reasonable commuting distance).
- 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday, flexible and agile working environment.
- Hybrid working as a core element of the role.
