Join to apply for the Costs Negotiator role at Slater and Gordon Lawyers (UK). An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Costs Negotiator to join our Post Service team in Liverpool on a 12-month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Post Service Manager, you will negotiate on a range of case types, such as RTA, Clinical Negligence, Industrial Disease, EL/PL, Military and Abuse.
The position requires the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of cases, from which detailed advice can be provided to the Fee Earners, setting out settlement parameters. You will also manage your own caseload, provide technical expertise and maintain a high quality of delivery, requiring a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
We welcome applications from those who have experience with budget negotiations and preparing Precedent R’s, advising on issues and cost disputes.
