Slater and Gordon are a leading consumer law firm which provides a broad range of specialist legal and complementary services. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join us on 12 month FTC. You will need to be comfortable working independently with spreadsheets and applying formulas to solve practical problems. This role does not require a legal background or law degree. An interest in the law or how it works in practice would be an advantage, and we encourage applications from candidates with a wide range of professional and educational backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work confidently with multiple Excel spreadsheets to organise, analyse, and validate data.
  • Use formulas to perform calculations, comparisons, and logical checks.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across datasets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues using formula‑based solutions.
  • Present information clearly through well‑structured spreadsheets.
Required Excel Skills
  • Experience with lookup functions, conditional and nested formulas.
  • Basic error handling.
  • Comfortable working with moderate to large datasets.
Experience & Background
  • Strong Excel capability is essential.
  • No requirement for a law degree or legal training.
