Junior Legal Secretary

Slater and Gordon are currently seeking a Junior Legal Secretary to join our established Clinical Negligence team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in a similar legal secretarial role who is looking to build a long‑term career with a leading national law firm.

In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and secretarial support to our solicitors and paralegals. You’ll assist with document preparation, client communication, and general file administration to help ensure the smooth running of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing incoming and outgoing communications
  • Maintaining and updating case management systems
  • Liaising with clients in a professional and confidential manner
  • Providing general administrative support to fee earners

About You

  • Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role (ideally within clinical negligence or litigation)
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • A proactive, professional and team‑focused attitude
