Family Solicitor – Liverpool
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join our national family team in Liverpool.
We are looking for a qualified individual who will manage their own case load (divorce, matrimonial finances, private children work and cohabitation disputes), assist other Solicitors in the team and provide a high level of client care, whilst maintaining adherence to our national standards.
Skills and experience required: excellent communication, organisation, time‑keeping, and the ability to delegate to trainees, paralegals and support staff. You will handle client meetings, provide realistic advice, negotiate on their behalf, and manage time recording, billing and cash collection targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage individual case load of family‑law matters.
- Assist and mentor junior members of the team.
- Deliver high‑level client care, ensuring adherence to national standards.
- Lead new‑client meetings, set expectations and handle negotiations.
- Track time, produce billable records and achieve personal chargeable‑hour targets.
- Engage in business development: attend networking events and contribute to marketing efforts.

- Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the office (must live within a reasonable commute).
- 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
