We're actively recruiting for a Paralegal to join our award-winning Serious Injury team in Cambridge.
Our Serious Injury team is recognised as one of the UK's leading specialists, representing clients who have suffered life-changing injuries. The team handles a wide range of complex and high-value cases, including spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, amputations, serious orthopaedic injuries, and fatal accident claims.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paralegal looking to develop their career within a highly respected team, supporting Solicitors and Fee Earners on challenging and rewarding cases while making a real difference to clients and their families.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting Solicitors and Fee Earners with the management of Serious Injury cases.
- Liaising with clients, experts, insurers and other third parties.
- Supporting the progression of claims from initial instruction through to settlement.
- Managing client matters in line with firm processes and service standards.
- Delivering exceptional levels of client care and communication.
- Preparing legal documentation, correspondence and court forms.
- Providing administrative and legal support to the wider team.
- Maintaining accurate time recording, billing and debtor management.
What we're looking for
- Previous Paralegal experience within Personal Injury, Serious Injury, Clinical Negligence or a related claimant litigation environment.
- Experience assisting with litigated and/or high-value injury claims would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
