How you will make a difference: As a Principal Product Manager, you will lead two product teams focused on solving complex challenges in global workforce enablement. You’ll work across engineering, design, data science, and business functions to develop and execute solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and business value. While your teams will leverage AI and automation to enhance solutions, this role is about delivering impactful outcomes, not just implementing technology. You will be responsible for ensuring that innovation aligns with real customer needs, business goals, and regulatory considerations.

  • Product Strategy & Execution: Define and own the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with Safeguard Global’s mission and growth strategy. Prioritise and execute product initiatives based on business impact, customer needs, and technical feasibility. Balance long-term strategic vision with short-term execution to deliver continuous value.
  • Product Discovery & Problem-Solving: Use qualitative and quantitative research to uncover customer pain points and opportunities. Apply various discovery techniques to deeply understand the problem space before defining solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions effectively address user needs. Run quick iterative experiments to understand what will have the biggest impact before investing in building the solution.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment. Use storytelling and data-driven insights to influence decision-making across the organisation. Clearly articulate the value of product enhancements to internal teams and customers.
  • Go-to-Market & Adoption: Work with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product launches and adoption. Define success metrics and KPIs to track product performance and optimise continuously. Alongside your engineering counterpart, be responsible for the delivery of the value aligned to your product or feature.

What will give you an advantage: Familiar with AI-related compliance, data privacy, and regulatory considerations (e.g., GDPR, AI Act). Solid background in product management, with experience in enterprise software, automation, or AI-adjacent solutions. Knowledgeable in AI and automation to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience. Strong collaboration skills, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, and business teams. Experience with AI/ML technologies, including model training, data pipelines, and responsible AI principles. Strong communicator, adept at presenting to executives and creating team vision storyboards. Analytical skills, leveraging data to drive decision-making. Experienced in discovery techniques to understand problem spaces and experiment with solutions. Commercially aware, understanding product impact on revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Skilled in managing complexity and working in undefined problem spaces.
