About Slalom Alliances
Slalom is a purpose-led, people-first consulting company that believes in the power of partnership. Our alliances are central to how we go to market and how we create meaningful impact for our clients. We build relationships that feel like true collaboration that are rooted in trust, shared outcomes, and a passion for solving complex challenges together.
Within the UK and Ireland, our Alliances team is growing quickly, and our data partners are at the heart of that growth. We are looking for a Partner Development Associate who is excited by relationship-driven work and curious about building a career in partner and alliance management, whether you already have exposure to alliances or are looking to move into this space from another commercial or tech role.
The Role
As a Partner Development Associate, you will help power Slalom’s partner ecosystem through excellent execution, collaboration, and relationship management. You’ll work closely with internal sales, delivery, and marketing teams, as well as external technology partners, to support co-sell activity, enablement, and go-to-market initiatives. This role blends commercial coordination, operational rigour, and relationship building. It is well suited to someone early in their tech career who enjoys connecting people, keeping things moving, and learning how partnerships drive growth. You do not need to be an expert in alliances on day one. We care far more about your behaviours, mindset, and potential than about ticking every box.
What you’ll do
- Execute – Support Strong, Scalable Partnerships
- Build productive working relationships with partner contacts across sales, marketing, technical, and partner management teams.
- Support co-sell and partner motions, including deal coordination, pipeline tracking, partner portal activity, and follow-up.
- Work with Slalom market teams to align the right people and capabilities to partner-related opportunities.
- Coordinate partner enablement activities, such as sales and technical training, certifications, and internal communications.
- Maintain accurate reporting and operational hygiene across partner scorecards, dashboards, and pipeline views.
- Grow – Help Expand Our Partner Impact
- Support account mapping and joint planning to identify new areas of opportunity.
- Assist in identifying and activating partner programs, funding, and incentives.
- Contribute to go-to-market initiatives such as events, campaigns, webinars, and marketplace activity.
- Help amplify Slalom’s presence and credibility within partner ecosystems.
- Own – Take Accountability & Follow Through
- Coordinate rhythm-of-business activities including QBRs, governance meetings, and planning sessions.
- Track actions, risks, and dependencies, and proactively surface insights to leaders.
- Take ownership of agreed KPIs related to engagement, enablement, and pipeline contribution.
- Represent Slalom professionally and consistently in partner interactions.
- Lead Self – Show Up With the Right Behaviours
- Manage priorities effectively across multiple stakeholders and initiatives.
- Bring curiosity, professionalism, and empathy to every interaction.
- Share learnings and insights to help the wider team grow.
- Actively invest in your own development and contribute to an inclusive, supportive team culture.
What we’re looking for
We’re deliberately flexible on background. You might come from account management, sales, business development, partner operations, consulting, or an early-career role within a tech or SaaS organisation. We’d love to see:
- An interest in partnerships, alliances, or ecosystem-based growth.
- Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working across teams.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how deals move through a sales cycle.
- Organisational strength and attention to detail.
- Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders.
- A learning mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Experience with cloud, data, or technology platforms is helpful. Exposure to partners such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar ecosystems is a bonus — not an expectation.
Why Join Slalom?
This is an opportunity to build a career in alliances at a company that genuinely values partnership and people. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, market-leading technology partners, and real commercial decision-making, while being supported to learn and grow. If you’re motivated by relationships, collaboration, and building something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
