Slalom is currently seeking an experienced data and cloud focused Sales Executive. As a Data Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base by promoting and selling our Data services. You'll work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive value. Extensive experience working with Databricks is essential. The individual in this role will serve Slalom's clients across the UK, building and executing sales engagement processes. Successful candidates must thrive in a people-based, team-selling corporate culture and be passionate about delivering positive outcome-based work for clients and growing the Slalom brand.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with other Slalom capability counterparts to build strategic relationships with prospective clients.
  • Drive business development for net new clients, collaborating with sales, account, and capability leaders. There is a need to support some sales into existing accounts, but this will not be the primary focus of this role.
  • Drive client discovery in partnership with account and capability leaders, qualifying timing, and budget to align proposals with client expectations.
  • Articulate desired business outcomes and define win themes based on competition.
  • Deliver presentations to prospective clients, managing mutual close plans.
  • Build strong regional market relationships.

What You Will Bring

  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work both on your own and as part of a team.
  • Sales experience in consulting services, with a passion for both sales and technology.
  • Extensive experience working in partnership with one or more of our alliance partners.
  • Data seller with focus on Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Strong commitment to achieving client outcomes, able to partner with clients to understand organisational needs and recommend value-adding solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration, relationship-building, and team-building skills, coupled with strong organisation, prioritisation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in working with hybrid teams, possessing a strong process orientation.
  • Experienced in budget and sales management, with a track record of building relationships with CXOs and business decision-makers.
  • Skilled in leading teams through complex technology solution sales and consistently demonstrating strong people management skills.
