Role Description Self-Employed Paraplanner (Part-Time | Flexible Hours | Remote, Hybrid or Office-Based)

We are a friendly, ambitious, and growing Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice looking for an experienced Self-Employed Paraplanner to become an integral part of our team. Whether you prefer working from home, in our West Yorkshire office, or a blend of both, this role offers the flexibility to fit around your lifestyle while allowing you to make a real impact.

The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with our advisers and support team, helping to deliver first‑class financial planning solutions and an exceptional client experience. Your knowledge and attention to detail will play a key role in supporting advisers and ensuring clients receive high-quality, well‑researched recommendations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing clear, compliant, and client‑friendly suitability reports
- Conducting research and analysing appropriate financial planning solutions
- Supporting advisers throughout the advice process
- Working collaboratively with our administration team to ensure smooth and efficient client delivery
- Managing your workload flexibly while maintaining high professional standards
About You
We’re looking for a knowledgeable and experienced paraplanner who is confident working independently and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
You will have:
- A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential)
- Proven paraplanning experience within an IFA environment
- Strong report‑writing, analytical, and research skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- The ability to work remotely and manage your own workload effectively
- Existing relationships with other IFA firms and available capacity would be advantageous
