Slade Primary School is looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an important role within our school community, helping to ensure that children have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime. You will support children during lunch and play, encourage positive behaviour and help create a welcoming environment where all children feel safe and included. The role is part time, working 6.25 hours per week.
About the role
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise children during lunchtime in the dining area and outside.
- Help to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children in resolving minor disagreements.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children.
- Support children to develop positive social skills and enjoy their lunchtime.
- Follow the school's safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a positive and well-organised lunchtime.
