We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing UK organisation for a detail-oriented Product Support Technician to join their Operations Support team. This is a full-time, 6-month temporary contract offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position, subject to performance and business requirements. Initially, this is an office-based role, with the possibility of hybrid working following the onboarding period. You will be joining a small, supportive team, responsible for processing a backlog of internal support tickets and ensuring the accurate and timely resolution of operational and customer account enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve internal support tickets.
- Review customer account information and verify data accuracy.
- Process system updates and database amendments.
- Support the configuration and administration of internal systems.
- Upload and maintain operational data.
- Provide technical and administrative support to internal teams.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Level 5 qualification or above in a technical, scientific, engineering or mathematical discipline (STEM). Suitable qualifications include Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Data Science or similar technical subjects. Equivalent qualifications such as a HND, Foundation Degree or higher-level vocational qualification in a relevant technical discipline will also be considered.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Previous experience using databases, business systems, CRM software or ticket management systems would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Salary & Benefits
- £28,000 per annum.
