Our client is looking to recruit Production Operatives for temporary – PERMANENT positions, immediate starts.
The successful candidates MUST have previous experience in a production environment. You will be required to complete Lagging (cutting out and fitting material to insulate pipes) on all external and internal pipes of a variety of different products/units. These can come in varying sizes and thicknesses. Previous experience lagging is not essential for this role as full training will be given.
Duties will include:
- Using templates to mark lagging
- Cutting out the templates
- Gluing and fitting over the pipes
- Moving units around the area
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
Key skills required include:
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Good attention to detail
- Physically fit and dextrous
- Not afraid of repeated tasks/jobs
Hours: 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday, 6am to 11.40am Friday = 39 hours per week.
£12.73 per hour, overtime will be available during busy periods paid at time + ½.
