Our client is looking for a highly motivated and reliable Number 1 Lithographic Printer for a PERMANENT position at their site based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities of Lithographic Printer:

  • To effectively run the print machines, identifying and reporting any necessary maintenance faults and requirements.
  • Maximising machine efficiency and minimising machine downtime.
  • Achieve daily/weekly production targets.
  • Carry out reconciliation of quantities required, and quantity produced, ensuring correct specifications and quantity of product are produced within the specified deadline.
  • Ensure any shortages and targets not met or not as requested are escalated and are immediately reported to the department manager.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and actively support company improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the correct procedures and quality checks are completed to ensure production meets both company, customer specifications and established industry and quality standards.
  • Compliance with good housekeeping, GMP procedures and the 5s methodologies.
  • Follow Health and Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment, escalating concerns and risk.
  • Follow all company processes and procedures in accordance with company Quality Manual, ISO 9001:2000, PS 9000 and GMP.

Experience required for Lithographic Printer:

  • Successful candidates should be educated to a good standard with qualifications in Lithographic Printing or equivalent experience.
  • Additionally, you should have previous experience of working within the Print Manufacturing Industry, preferably with previous exposure and experience with Lithographic Printers, KBA and or Komori Machines.

Hours of work: Continental Shifts, 36 hours per week with paid breaks. (This is a set shift pattern which will be provided with full job description)

Salary: Competitive Dependant on Experience
