We're looking for a reliable Yard Operative to join our client's busy team in Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD21, Temp to perm position. While some Banksman duties are involved, this role is much more than vehicle marshalling. We're looking for someone with a strong warehouse background, excellent awareness of health & safety, and the confidence to work in a fast-paced yard environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely directing HGVs, vans and cars around the yard when required
  • Managing the safe flow of vehicles and deliveries
  • Working closely with Warehouse, Production and FLT teams
  • Supporting loading and unloading operations
  • Carrying out daily yard safety inspections
  • Keeping the yard, loading bays and walkways clean, organised and hazard-free
  • Supporting pallet movements, equipment handling and general yard duties
  • Ensuring all health, safety and environmental procedures are followed

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous warehouse or yard experience
  • A strong understanding of warehouse health & safety
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A proactive attitude and a team-focused approach
  • Experience working around HGVs, FLTs and busy warehouse operations

Hours: 6am – 12pm Lunch Monday to Friday = 30 hours per week OR 12pm Lunch – 6pm Monday to Friday = 30 hours per week

Rate of Pay: £14.34 - £15.37 per hour Dependent on experience
