Our client based in Keighley, West Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator for an immediate start. This is a temporary ongoing position.
* Working as part of a busy Logistics Team duties include
- Process customer collection requests and arrange transport bookings through carrier web portals.
- Coordinate daily shipments with Warehouse and Transport teams to ensure on-time dispatch.
- Plan and arrange same-day collections where required.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delivery issues.
- Chase, receive and process Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
- Maintain accurate shipment records within the ERP system
(Epicor). Produce shipping documentation and ensure compliance with customer and carrier requirements.
- Support export shipping activities and transport administration.
- Assist with freight quotations and transport cost control where required.
- Ensure all logistics documentation is accurate and completed within required timescales.
Experience required
- Experience of working within a logistics, shipping or transport adminsitartion environment
- Experience arranging transport and customer collections
- Experience using ERP systems
- Must have excellent attention to details and accuracy skills, coupled with computer systems
- A proficient user of Microsoft Office packages and systems.
Hours are 0815 – 1700 Monday to Thursday & (Apply online only) Friday = 37.5 hours per week.
