Our client is looking to recruit a highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Operator within our Despatch Warehouse department based at their site in Bradford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing orders, loading/unloading pallets, stock management, and the dispatch of goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Person Specification:
Successful candidates should be educated to a good standard with previous experience of working within a warehouse position and must hold a certificate to operate a Forklift Truck Counterbalance (FLT). The ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills is essential, as well as the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, forklifts, and scanners.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, maintaining quality standards.
- Complete picking and loading in accordance with booked collection times and set targets.
- Report damaged goods or missing inventory to the Warehouse Senior Team Leader.
- Record deliveries on the goods receipt system.
- Perform stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Store goods safely following company procedures.
- Raise complaints regarding standards, visual quality, or deliveries, and report immediately to the Production Supervisor.
Hours of work:
Continental shifts, 36 hours per week with paid breaks. Full shift pattern and detailed job description will be provided.
