- Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator & Inspector to join our Quality team.
In this dual role, you will play a critical part in translating design intent into measurable data, ensuring all manufactured components meet strict engineering and quality standards.
This role plays a key part in supporting production, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement in inspection processes.
Responsibilities
- Compliance with Health and Safety legislation and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
- Develop, test, and validate CMM programs using Aberlink software, for new and existing products (training will be given).
- Conduct first off, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with quality plans.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Complete inspection reports, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Identify and document non-conformances.
- Maintain inspection tools and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (Gauge R&R) studies.
- Train and support inspectors in the use of CMM programs and equipment.
- Maintain CMM equipment and calibration schedules to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality personnel to resolve dimensional issues.
Requirements

- Proven experience as a CMM Operator or Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
