  • Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Operator & Inspector to join our Quality team.

In this dual role, you will play a critical part in translating design intent into measurable data, ensuring all manufactured components meet strict engineering and quality standards.

This role plays a key part in supporting production, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement in inspection processes.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance with Health and Safety legislation and maintaining a hazard-free environment.
  • Develop, test, and validate CMM programs using Aberlink software, for new and existing products (training will be given).
  • Conduct first off, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with quality plans.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
  • Complete inspection reports, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Identify and document non-conformances.
  • Maintain inspection tools and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Conduct measurement system analysis (MSA) and gauge repeatability and reproducibility (Gauge R&R) studies.
  • Train and support inspectors in the use of CMM programs and equipment.
  • Maintain CMM equipment and calibration schedules to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality personnel to resolve dimensional issues.

Requirements

  • Aerospace, automotive, medical device, or precision machining background.
  • Proven experience as a CMM Operator or Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Team player
