Location: Wakefield
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6pm β 6am (includes 25% night shift uplift)
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist
- Set, program, and operate Haas 3-axis vertical machining centres (VF2 β VF9)
- Manufacture high-quality component parts within drawing tolerances
- Use appropriate inspection and measuring equipment to verify accuracy
- Read and interpret engineering drawings effectively
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required
Key Skills & Abilities of the CNC Machinist
- Confident in setting, programming, and operating Haas milling machines (programming experience desirable)
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and measurement equipment
- Awareness of health & safety best practices
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Knowledge of 4th and 5th axis machining (advantageous)
