Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Quality Engineer/Inspector

  • Interpret engineering drawings, identify specified standards, and verify that finished components meet specification.
  • Identify non-conforming components and enable corrective action before delivery to customers.
  • Maintain and manage calibration of measuring tools, ensuring compliance with tolerances and intervals.
  • Complete inspection reports and certificates of conformance for finished components.
  • Provide guidance on quality issues, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Qualifications & Experience of the Mechanical Quality Engineer/Inspector

  • Qualification in mechanical engineering
  • Relevant mechanical engineering experience
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment (digital height gauges, hardness testers, micrometers, Bowers, etc.).
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001.
  • Experience with CMM equipment
